Phases for New Teachers

Mentor teachers, by definition, have experience in the classroom.  In order to help mentors better understand (and remember) what it is like to be a new teacher, mentor training explicitly identifies and mirrors the "Phases for New Teachers" as described by Ellen Moir at the New Teacher Center, University of Santa Cruz.  The phases are breifly described below and can be read about in more detail at the New Teacher Center's website, here.
